RESNET Adopts Rating Code of Ethics
The RESNET accredited home energy rating providers are committed to providing quality and professional services to their customers and the public. On June 6, 2003, the RESNET Board of Directors adopted the Rating Code of Ethics. The Code of Ethics sets forth principles and rules of conduct enforced by RESNET through specific procedures contained in its Accreditation Standards. RESNET accredited rating providers are responsible for informing their certified raters of the code and enforcing the code's provisions.

RESNET Has Joined the 2003 EEBA Conference
The 2003 EEBA Building Solutions Conference will take place on October 15 - 18, 2003 at the Marriott's Lincolnshire Resort in Lincolnahire, Illinois. As part of its partnership with EEBA RESNET will host a special one day session that will focus on rating business development. for New England" regional training to be held October 1- 2, 2003 at Westford
Regency Inn, Westford, MA. If you take time to attend one event this fall,
this is your opportunity for great information, great networking, and to get
those RESNET Continuing Education Units' out of the way.
Along with the
best practices in building performance and assessing energy efficiency, this
two-day, hands-on training will feature a special session of interest to energy
raters, "Rating Low-Rise Multifamily Buildings." Presented by multifamily
rating experts, Richard Faesy, Bruce Harley and Don Swift, this session will
explore ways that energy rating assumptions for single family homes do and do
not apply to low-rise multifamily buildings.
From the
"How to" details that make a job effective to the business side of home
performance, it will all be right there at this training. Look for other great features, including
demonstrations, a contractor/crew competition, and trade show.
